Last night there was another birthday bash...this time it was at my house!! I had witnessed the crazy ways ppl get hit, kicked, thrown and smashed on their b'days here at UTA. I cudn't imagine my living room to be messed up like this with hoards of ppl gathered to spill everything on a poor soul. Least to say I secretly wished to run-away from here on my bday!!!
It's A's birthday today and at the stike of 12 we planned a surprise party for her. Called up her gang member to plan things out. And so went out to get cake in the evening. Got an amazing Icecream cake, chips, soda as usual and some party foam. Well the last item wasn't on my list but some ppl find b'day parties boring without it, cant help it. So its 12 and the gang gets all the food, cake etc. to our place..she is surprised having no idea when we managed to get all tht. After getting cake and party foam all over her face, these ppl got her drenched in eggs and bear!! It stinks yukkk..
I could imagine her plight. If she had listened to the warnings we hinted her for the coming scenario... One has to succumb when there are 20 ppl screaming and pulling you. So all said and done, everyone leaves at 2 and the house is a MESS. I and D take brooms and trashbags and run all over the place. There's egg, paper, cake, foam and wht not on carpet.. Some marathon cleaning and by 2:30 we are done. phew!!! No b'day parties at my place i say now.. :P 2 yrs. here in Arlington but i've not been here on my b'day Thank god :) This year too i wish i am outta here. Just scared of this tradition followed on b'days here :P
Since friday till today watched 3 hindi movies :p Aashiq banaya aapne, Koi aap sa and Socha na tha. After watching them i felt that didnt i had any better thing to do ?? Aashiq banaya aapne is seriously one crap movie to the core. The latter ones still tolerable.
Winters setting in here and the temperatures are going down down down...It has gifted me with some coughing and fever :( Outta fever, but still have some cough. I don't fall sick so often but when i do its worse for me as i just hate taking medicines!! Few yrs before i wud do away with fever without swallowing any pills. Now that i pay student insurance, i wish to use the health services for all those dollars!! Till then ppl around me have to bear with my harmonious coughing for some time :P

man... such bday celebrations make me sick. i wud put a gun to their heads and make such ppl clean up.

reminds me of my hostel days...when buckets of sambhar and chutni would be pourded on the b'day guy.. he would be beaten and kicked...and stuff..
well it was so much fun..and i really miss all those days ( minus the beatings which i had received )

@Vicky: Yeah..i just came to know tht guys here keep month old sambhar, rasam and rotten tomatoes..tht is so NOT fun for me :p Maybe getting past few years from now i think of it as fun :)
