visa granted!!!!

26th july...my dear dear bro got visa today :) No wonder he's on cloud nine right now !! He will be goin to San. Fransicso State Uni. from this fall. I am so happy for him :d The process was goin on since long time, applying, getting admitted, taking an appointment and the final step procuring Visa.

Used to have daily chat sessions on yahoo with him, almost everyday woke up with his call and he's telling me.."bhumi do this, do that, call this uni. ppl and ask them, wht shud i do now...etc etc. :)" my sweet bro's a true libran always unsure bout decisions and i can easily emotionally blackmail him (give me ur chocolates i'll give u mine next time ;) ) :p

Ya, i m elder to him but just name sake..i wish he called me "didi" but NO he has given me all the funny names on the earth :p Now tht he's gonna come here, i m sooo very happy :). Being here for about 2 years now, i dont want him to go through the difficulties which i went through. Just want everything ready to go for him. to my relief kuni n rakhi di is there in SF to take care of him.

Called everyone in US and i m like shouting it on top of the roof..whoever meets me knows tht he got visa :d Did spend lot of time cooking. Made gulab jamuns, dal fry and jeera rice for few frnds and roomies. well just one word for food everything was "AWESOME" :D:D Love the dal fry with jeera rice that Mum makes, i always try to replicate her recipe, today guess it tasted much like her's :)

finally we got a table fan in the bedroom, the AC is simply not throwing any cool air this summer, room is much better a place to be in now :d
